Rid Yourself Of The Procrastination Mentality By Author Stephen Richards

Procrastination is simply the unwillingness to act on important tasks and instead put off it for the foreseeable future, which in reality never comes around. Procrastination is something that quite a lot of people suffer from. While at a glance we do not tend to take it seriously, it can, however, at times prove quite disastrous. Putting of crucial and vital tasks for later can be quite damaging, both for you and for others. Although it seems like it is quite an easy problem to take care of, in reality it hardly is. However, with dedication and determination you can definitely break free from this extremely bad habit.

There are a few things that you might want to try to rid yourself of the procrastination mentality.

There are times when you just cannot focus on your current work. Do not worry, this is quite normal and happens to the best of us. Do not try to fight yourself and force your body and mind to work on something that you just can’t do at that moment. If you try to do so, you will not only be unproductive but also you might end up actually ruining the work you were doing. Instead, if there are other things that need your attention try to work on those (you will be surprised how much you get done in order to avoid the task at hand). If even that is not possible for you at that very moment then go take a walk or do some leisurely activity for a few minutes. However, be very careful that your few minutes rest does not turn into an hour-long sojourn. When you are refreshed, get back to work and you will see that you can give more to your work than previously.

Some people can be unaware of the procrastination that they suffer from. Make sure that you pay attention to the time you spend doing nothing. However, I do not say that you should spend your every waking moment working. After all, there is truth in the proverb – “All work and no play makes jack a dull boy”. You should, however, cap your idle time to a limit.

Just try to see what exactly you can do in life without procrastination. If you can discipline yourself not to do be lethargic and stop putting off work for another day, then you will find your life being changed drastically. You will begin to feel good about everything and you will visibly see the difference once you shed procrastination.

How Morton’s Toe Could Get You A Foot On The Ladder Of Success By Stephen Richards

Alright, your feet are in agony, they seem, at times, as if though they are on fire and at the same time being crushed by rocks. You can’t wait to take your shoes off in order to allow the pain to escape. But hang on, there might just be something good to come out of all of that pain you have been suffering!

I have conducted some in-depth research; some might call it wasted time. However, I call it amazing! If what I have discovered is correct then it is going to help a lot of people come to terms with their situation and make the pain worthwhile. Not that any pain is worth enduring for any amount of money, but wait until you see where I am coming from with this discovery before slamming it. Because what I have discovered here is just amazing! I am going to show you how success and painful feet are linked!

What am I getting at here? Well, first take your shoe and sock off from one of your feet, look at that bare foot; now zone in on the second toe of that foot (the one next to your big toe). Now take a close look at it. Is it freakishly longer than your big toe? If it is longer, read on. If it is not longer then there is no need to read the rest of this, as you may just put it down to probably, etc so no drama.

Right, for the rest of you with that large second toe, you have something that is called “Morton’s Foot Syndrome”, also known as Greek Foot, Royal Toe or Morton’s Toe (thought to occur in about 15-20% of the world’s population). But feel blessed, because ancient Greeks considered Morton’s toe to be a sign of beauty. Even the statue of liberty has Morton’s toe … really! But please read on, as I haven’t quite finished explaining about the joy of having such a malady!

You most likely experience excruciating foot pain, especially if you spend a lot of time on your feet. The reason for all of this pain is due to how the second toe protrudes when you walk, all of the pressure is taken by that second toe when, in fact, it is meant to be taken by the big toe when you push off.

Your problem is how the second metatarsal bone that attaches to the second toe is longer than the metatarsal bone that connects to the big toe.  Thus all of the pressure goes straight into the ball of your foot, particularly when you push off each foot when walking, as this is how we walk. Because the big toe no longer does what it is designed for then you will suffer huge problems.

Some say that when the toe next to the big toe is longer than the big toe it's a sign of high intelligence, but I am sure you knew that anyway!! But I still haven’t reached the magnificent news you want to hear!

Don’t get me wrong, I certainly do not have a foot fetish. But over the years I wanted to find out why some people had so much pain in their feet, while others experienced zero foot pain. That’s when I discovered Morton’s toe. So during some of my Cosmic Ordering course I would ask to see the bare foot of some of my delegates, and no … it was not some bizarre initiation ceremony! I just wanted to see if they had a longer second toe than their big first toe. And guess what, every single one I asked to look had Morton’s toe!

I mean, these delegates were on my course in order to secure success, they were success-minded people. I was starting to discover that successful people are more than likely to have Morton’s toe. I am not saying that they had success simply as a reward for the pain they were going through, I am just extrapolating on my findings.

Also, Morton's toe is said to reveal you have immense forethought but can be overconfident and enjoys to be seen to be in charge (some say the person would be the boss of the family). However your endowment of having Morton’s toe lies with being able to inspire confidence in others. Another prevalent notion is that people of Celtic origins have a longer second toe. Others declare that you are descended from Royalty if your second toe is longer.

From my own research I have discovered there are quite a few celebrities with Morton’s toe and as far as I can determine from photographic and documented evidence they may well include: Katie Holms, Keira Knightley, Shilpa Shetty, Jennifer Garner, Naomi Campbell, Princess Kate Middleton, Keri Hilson, Iman, Serena Williams, Sarah Jessica Parker, Paris Hilton, Victoria Beckham, Renee Zellweger, Christina Hendricks, Pamela Anderson, Kim Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Lara Spencer, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, Jessica Alba, Maria Menounos, Ashley Lilley, Shannon Elizabeth, Carmen Electra, Charlize Theron, Jessica Simpson, Nicolette Sheridan, Reese Witherspoon, Emma Bunton, Eva Mendes, Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie, Ashley Olsen, Sharon Stone, Rashida Jones, Carrie Underwood, Paula Abdul, Selena Gomez, Jamie Chung, Laura Croft, Gisele Bundchen, Allison Munn, Drew Barrymore, Keri Hilson, Serena Williams, President Kennedy, Michael Phelps, Gov Sarah Palin.

So after reading that, I am sure Morton’s toe is a condition you can live with, although it could cause, aches and pains all over the body including back, hip, knee, leg foot and ankles problems. Also, it could be the real cause of not only the problems listed above but also of fibromyalgia and sleep disturbances. The prevalence of Morton's toe is thought to be responsible for well over 80% of people suffering from musculoskeletal pain.

How Gordon Sumner Used Positive Thinking To Make Fame Happen Before He Became Rockstar Sting - By Stephen Richards

Back in the 1970s, two young men were sitting in a Tyneside (England) pub at a table staring into the dregs of their beer. They were both down on their luck. However, one of the men said, "I’m just waiting for the chance to burst onto the world. I want to go to London and become a word-famous pop star and musician. I’m simply wasting my talents here in Newcastle. I've got to move on. I just feel special; that’s all. Is that so bad?” The man talking? Sting!

See the full story in the new book ‘Three Sumner Tales’ based on the Sting endorsed biography 'A Sting in the Tale' (the only biography about, and approved of, by Sting) by Sting's friend James Berryman.

Three Sumner Tales is a story of Sting the boy, the young man; it is an utterly stunning piece of work. Adapted by James Berryman into 3 x 30 minute semi-biographical situation comedies (TV sitcom) from the book ‘A Sting in the Tail’, the only biography about, and approved of, by Sting.

Each eye-wateringly funny dialogue in this e-book is based on real life events featuring Sting, Jim Berryman and related characters. It is set in 60s and 70s Newcastle before Sting rose to fame as the frontman of the band The Police.

Each of these real life scripts delivers some truly slick comedy, and Jim Berryman’s writing talents bring to each one of them a kind of magic that is quite hilarious and in the tradition of TV’s ‘Only Fool’s and Horses’, ‘Dad’s Army’ and ‘Fawlty Towers’. The intricate storylines in ‘Three Sumner Tales’ are delivered with a sprinkling of slapstick that has been lovingly-crafted. Even though these relate to some years after their setting, Jim Berryman’s writing is evergreen. Revealed within are issues of Sting’s personality, excitement and triumph, all set against a setting that will appeal to any age.

CATASTROPHIC VIBRATIONAL NEGATIVITY in Sharm el Sheikh by Stephen Richards

Warning: This file image taken during a dive tour in Sharm el-Sheikh shows a female swimmer relaxing in the water - seemingly unaware that an Oceanic white tip shark is swimming near by. Tourists have been advised to avoid cheap dive tour operators after violent shark attacks at the popular resort
Apologies if this posting sounds negative, but it is meant to save lives and to be a positive post! Call me mad, call me whatever, but something needs urgently attending to. It was on opening my browser I caught sight of the place name Sharm el Sheikh. Well of course I travel the world so any place names attracts me, especially as I have not been to that place in Egypt.

I discovered on reading the piece that a man had recently drowned there. Now if memorey serves me correct I know that someone else had drowned there a number of years ago from when I used to read newspapers. So I did a search and what I discovered is numbing!

2013 - 50-year-old British man drowned while swimming on Friday.

2012 - A lawyer representing 140 families who fell ill at the Holiday Village Red Sea in Sharm el-Sheikh this summer, is calling for the hotel to be "closed down".

2012 - Ten people were killed and five injured when an East Delta Company bus crashed.

2012 - Scuba diver also missing and feared dead. Two divers, including one UK national, are feared dead after they failed to return from a dive in the popular resort of Sharm el Sheikh.

2012 - Frenchman, 42, has been shot and killed in the Red Sea town of Sharm el-Sheikh.

2011 - A death in the pool at Coral Sea Imperial at Sharm el-Sheikh. And an unknown man died in a pool from a heart attack.

2010 - Sharm el-Sheikh shark attacks (three in a week) were a series of attacks by sharks on swimmers off the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt. 1 December 2010, three Russians and one Ukrainian were seriously injured within minutes of each other, and on 5 December 2010 a German woman was killed, when they were attacked while wading or snorkeling near the shoreline.

2008 - Adel basha drowning in sharm el sheikh.

2005 - Sharm el-Sheikh attacks were a series of terror attacks on 23 July 2005, perpetrated by an Islamist organization. Two Britons were among 90 killed in a series of terror attacks in Egypt, a hospital manager said today.

I could go on and on and on and on ... so beware of Sharm el Sheikh. The problem is that once Catastrophic Vibrational Negativity starts off then it is very difficult to shift it. I am sure many, many of you will disagree, but if it saves one life then I have done my job.

Just as a side issue, this whole bundle of negativity energy can be traced back to 3 January 2004 when a charter flight operated by Egyptian charter company Flash Airlines crashed into the Red Sea shortly after takeoff from Sharm el-Sheikh Int. Airport, killing all 135 passengers and all 13 crew members. The findings of the crash investigation are controversial, with accident investigators from the different countries involved not agreeing on the cause!

UPDATE - March 2013
A British couple were kidnapped while on the way to the Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh by Bedouin tribesmen. However, the good news is that they were released following negotiations with security officials.

UPDATE - May 18 2013

What Have A Radiographer And A Dog Sled Racer In Common? By Stephen Richards

When Scottish radiographer (and author) George Korankye was contacted by Edinburgh Evening News reporter Dawn Morrison about the benefits local libraries can bring to their communities, little did he know that he had just embarked on writing a novel that would link him to dog sled racer Julie Finlayson!

During the conversation with Dawn Morrison, George discovered how dog groomer Julie Finlayson had lost her grandmother to motor neuron disease (MND) and was planning to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease Charity (MND Scotland) by completing a dog sled run that would take her through the Arctic Circle on a 250- mile-long husky trail.

George heard how Julie’s grandmother had lost her fight for life to the stalking killer MND, and immediately became sympathetic to the pain Julie had experienced. Julie was planning to tackle a sled race in Norway in April 2013 to raise funds for MND Scotland, and she desperately needed monies to equip her dog team.

A phased-out novel about a dog race that George had been working on sprang to mind, and soon he was in contact with Julie and their conversation was enlightening. To aid Julie’s enterprise, George would rework the novel to include a character that has MND. This would fit in nicely with her fundraising venture.
However, the book was in need of a publisher! George used his old contact Stephen Richards at Mirage Publishing to see if the project could be facilitated by them. Long story short, and some time later, a script was presented to Mirage Publishing and George had a contract to supply the script for publication by them. The book was to be entitled Away the Lassie.

However, things started to snowball and before long, Julie’s SOS for help had been picked up on by various others who then decided to help in their chosen fields of profession.

Scottish author and radiographer George Korankye
Oh, and the novel Away the Lassie? Well that’s about the Bedinfield family, and it alludes to the injustices, prejudices and prevailing attitudes of some in the Victorian period towards the weaker sex when Lucy Bedinfield plans to be the first woman to tackle the Zasuma Quest, a taxing 1,000-mile sled hike into the Canadian tundra. That may seem like a simple story, but there are so many twists and turns that involve love and so many other raw emotions.

A substantial portion of any royalties from the novel Away the Lassie will be donated by the author George Korankye to Julie Finlayson and MND Scotland. The ebook is now available from February 2013.

EMPTYING THE FEAR BY STEPHEN RICHARDS

I just love visiting farmers’ markets, all sorts of goodies are sold, and I always ensure I have had something to eat before I call there, or otherwise I would be coming back with bagfuls of calorie laden pastries and other eye-wateringly attractive home-made foods.

CHEESE
I love the cheese stall, such a bountiful sight! I take one of the free samples, taste it and skip off quickly in case I end up buying the whole stall! As I taste the cheese I am drawn into a world that is apart from the usual fast-selling mall shops and the likes. I have a penchant for gorgonzola; luckily they do not sell this type of cheese as it is laden with calories!

LIZARD BRAIN
If I had not eaten before visiting the farmers’ market then my lizard brain would be screaming at me to get something to eat. It would scream, “Get it, get it!” I would not have a minute’s peace from it, but it has been sated and I am I glad of that as otherwise I would have to block it.

What is the lizard brain many of you may well ask? To put it simply, the lizard brain is purely concerned with survival. This is why we sometimes do irrational things when we are in a tight spot. The lizard brain - also known as the amygdala - is the primeval brain stem in our lower brain, where basic emotions function from. Call it a memory bank for emotions.

The reptilian brain sees something and reacts, simple as that. If we are hungry and it sees food, it wants it! Which is why it is always a good idea to eat before you go food shopping. If it sees a threat, it makes you run from it. If it sees an attractive person, it wants a date. There's nothing flash about it, this is why you react as you do in certain situations. These emotions from past events are stored in your emotional memory bank of the amygdala (lizard brain).

IN THE GRIP OF FEAR
When you are in the grip of fear and without realising it, your almond shaped and same sized amygdala (lizard brain) inside of your head takes over your reactions. Neurochemicals are released like an avalanche into your nervous system, and at that point you are running on auto-pilot and not in full control of yourself! Your main senses are supercharged to the hilt; everything becomes so much more blown up.

THE BASIS OF FEAR
The very basis of fear stems from a heightened state of anxiety, not unless, of course, it is a very real life threatening situation, and then you need to retain those particular fear emotion memories, as they serve to save your life.

GOOD FEAR - BAD FEAR
There is good fear and bad fear, now we just need a way to stop the bad fear patterns from being stored or to be able empty them from the amygdala's memory banks. Now there is a way to do that, a very clever way that has been designed by me (Stephen Richards) ... it’s ‘Releasing You From Fear’ (audio CD). I use this myself, and it certainly works.

I don’t want to bore you with the details but you can find it on any Amazon site.

THE DANGERS OF A MILLIONAIRE MINDSET BY STEPHEN RICHARDS

As many of you know, I have been edging you forward to your desires for a number of years now. Some of you have taken to it like a duck to water while some of you are just going through the motions. You may well drive a flash car and live in a posh house, but are they all paid for? Living beyond your means in the pretend world is not what I had in mind for you when we started out.

You go to your graves riddled in debt, and what for ... looking flash without the cash is worthless! Do you know that in the US, over three-quarters of people driving luxury cars are living beyond their means! Yes!!

You may well be hiding where you came from, I mean your roots. If they, your roots, are steeped in poverty, so what! Look, if you were brought up in a poor man’s brand of drink and prefer that to this very day then don’t pretend you like expensive wine ... I actually I can’t stand many wines ... they taste like rust water! I must be a philistine, although I do now like some red wines!!

BECOMING WEALTHY IS ABOUT ACCUMULATING WEALTH
Live within your means; don’t be frightened to question a bill or a service charge. I live in a rather large house that has a high value, but I could be equally at home in s small shack (actually I do have one in a quiet location with not even an electricity supply). Drag my shack to the suburbs of London and it would be worth millions, but so what! Do I care? No! So long as I am happy. However, I also own a portfolio of rental properties worth millions! I drive a number of cars and work related vehicles, but I couldn’t even begin to tell you the values or how old some of these vehicles are ... as it is simply academic to me. So long as the vehicle is fit for the job then so what!

GET REAL IF YOU WANT TO BE RICH
Stash the cash and stop being flash if you want to give being wealthy a bash! The top brands of products are aimed at ordinary people. They give the illusion that by owning these things that you will become special and mesh with the wealthy! Rubbish!!

ARE YOU THE GREAT PRETENDER?

In the US there are 1,138,070 millionaires living in properties worth less than a quarter of a million pounds sterling! People value their home first, income ranks second and wealth ranks third. But to get that home when you are on a knife edge of the economy is pointless! You are tied to debt and a treadmill existence in terms of eking out a living.

WHAT IS THE ANSWER?

Get off the consumer treadmill! We can change the direction of our lives, we are not on a path we cannot change ... we are very much in control of our lives. This is a comforting thought, I believe. I would not like to think I was not in control of the direction my life will take. In a culture of hyper-consumption, the advertising industry has brainwashed many people into believing they can raise their status just by driving a particular brand of whatever car they are pushing at you.

I have not bought a new vehicle for a number of years, what is the point if the one I have is running fine? I am happy with the paraphernalia in my house, so why should I add to it? Without realising it, my bank balance is actually higher these last few years than it has ever been. I have reached a point of contentment; I do not need to fill my life with chattels that serve no purpose. I gain my wealth from helping others, and that means you. So the next time someone says your car is looking old, don’t be tempted to go out and buy a newer model, tell them you are happy with it. If you are offered brandy when you really want a soft drink then tell them so. Be yourself and become wealthy!

I know a lot of wealthy people, and yet not many of them drive a Rolls Royce or a Ferrari! However, I know a lot of poor people on the verge of bankruptcy driving Bentleys!
